It may sound like a mouthful, but it’s actually the core of why Infinium—an independent, privately-owned company headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio – has taken the lead as an innovator of moveable, architectural wall systems.
Infinite means possessing no boundaries or limits. Continuum is defined as a continuous and seamless “whole,” where no one part overshadows the rest of the parts. Add the two words together and you get the crux of the Infinium promise: innovative glass fronts and interior wall systems that integrate clean, modern design with uncompromising engineering expertise.
Infinium Architectural Wall Systems was launched in 2003 by president and owner Shawn Gaffney with a powerful commitment: to ensure best-in-class, flawlessly engineered moveable wall systems and glass office fronts. From the beginning, Infinium dedicated itself to turning conventional construction on its ear by designing, engineering, manufacturing, and installing customized wall system and glass office front solutions with the highest level of sound reduction in the industry.
The company took a huge leap forward five years later when Shawn introduced the REFINE solution – with its unitized construction and clean, sharp lines – to the architecture and design market. REFINE garnered a prestigious “Best of Neocon” Award in the Architectural Products category. Shortly thereafter, Infinium outgrew its original manufacturing space and now inhabits a 40,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility incorporating the very latest manufacturing equipment.
A list of Infinium’s project sites reads like the Who’s Who of iconic buildings: the Empire State Building, 7 World Trade Center, 30 Rockefeller Center, the Harvard Medical School, Dow Jones, The Ohio State University, University of Florida, Disney, Associated Press, Boston Consulting Group, KPMG, Nestlé’s, Nissan, Timken, Samsung…just to mention a few.
